So with the iPhone 5 release just around the corner and Apple calling the latest iPad the 'New iPad' what do you think the new iPhone will be called?
Personally I think it will be called the 'iPhone'.
You have to remember that the iPhone 4S was the 5th generation iPhone so calling this one iPhone 5 will make no sense!

In my opinion, it should be called the "iPhone 5". Come on.. That's a name we can brag about! "The New iPhone" is pretty lame! Also, here's something to look forward to: All the Apple-Blogger's (especially 9to5mac's) faces when Apple releases a totally different iPhone that's nothing like what's in the Rumors!

I'm hoping the new iPhone doesnt look like this.. I really want a bigger screen but it has to be wider too, not just long

I personally don't think that it will be called the iPhone 5 either. Ever since the day the iPhone 4 was released, I never thought there would be an iPhone 5. The iPhone 4 IS the current iPhone 5. In the very least, if Apple sticks with numbers, it'll be called the iPhone 6. But I also believe it will just simply be called the "new iPhone".
On top of that, it just grates on my nerves when people still call it or refer to it as the "iPhone 5".
